    The Meeple Pass gives you access to unlimited swaps, lets you keep the games at home for as long as your Pass is active, and grants full access to our entire library.

    It also helps us cover logistics, handling, curation, swaps, and other operational costs, so you always get fresh, ready-to-play games straight at your doorstep.

  • Language Availability

    Our games come in Dutch 🇳🇱 and English 🇬🇧, so having a basic understanding of both will make things easier and to enjoy the games comfortably.

    You can tell us your language preferences, and we’ll always try to match them as best as possible.

    If you’d like to be sure, you can always pick your own games with the 'Add to Box' feature (see Swap Your Box section below).

  • Your Preferences Matter

    Want to help us pick the perfect games for you? In your Profile page, you can share:

    • Games you already own (so we avoid duplicates)
    • The types of games you enjoy most
    • Any other details that might guide our selection

    We’ll always do our best to match your preferences when building your box.

  • Before You Go...

    If you decide not to renew your Meeple Pass (no hard feelings — we hope you had a blast!), just return your current box and all its games within 2 business days after your plan ends.

  • How to Request a Swap

    Just head to "My Action" in the main menu and follow the instructions. Once we receive your request, we'll send you a return label within 24 business hours.

    As soon as your returned Box is scanned by the courier, we’ll ship your next box, usually within 1 to 3 business days. That way, you won’t be left game-less for long!

  • Just tell us how many games you want

    When swapping, you can choose between 5 different packs depending on how many games you want to receive.

    The smaller Box includes 1 game, the 'bigger' includes 5 games.

  • Want to Choose the Games Yourself?

    You can! Just use the "Add to your Box" feature before submitting your swap request.

    As long as the number of games ‘added to Box’ matches the number in your chosen Box, you’re good to go.
    If you skip this step or only pick some of the games, don’t worry, we’ll hand-pick the rest with care.

  • A Relevant Heads-Up

    We don’t ship new boxes within 14 days before your current Meeple Pass period ends. So, if you request a swap during that time, your new box will be dispatched only after your plan is either renewed or reactivated.

  • What is Meeple Care Process?

    Meeple Care Process means we’re working together to keep your games in top shape — without driving up prices.

    If you receive a game with any issues, you can report it quickly through our dedicated portal. This helps us take fast action before the box reaches another player, keeping the experience high-quality across the community.

    And yes — we still do our part.

    We perform full quality checks on every game after it has been swapped 5 times, making sure it remains up to our standards.

  • No Need to Count, Just Let Us Know

    Don’t worry, we’re not asking you to check every single piece the moment you open the box. Just dive in and enjoy the game, assuming everything’s there.

    If, during play or while packing up, you notice something’s missing or damaged, that’s the perfect time to let us know.

    No stress, no friction — just a small favor that helps us keep the experience smooth and the prices low for everyone.

  • Most Cases Are Simple

    If you report a missing or damaged component, we’ll assess the situation and determine if any action is needed. In most cases, one of the following will apply:

    • The game is still fully playable without the component
    • The missing part can be easily substituted with a common object (like a coin or token)

    These cases make up the vast majority of situations, and you’ll still be able to enjoy the game as intended without interruption.

  • When Gameplay Is Disrupted

    If the issue prevents you from playing the game altogether — meaning the component is essential and can’t be replaced — we’ll take corrective action.

    Depending on the case, we may:

    • Add an extra game to your next box
    • Offer compensation in the form of store credit

🎲 How We Pack Our Games

We want your experience to be smooth from the moment you open the box to the moment you pack it back up. That’s why we put extra care into how we organize every game we send out — not just for fun, but to make everything faster, easier, and more enjoyable for you.

  • How we Pack Games and Components

    • All the smaller components — like tokens, meeples, cards, coins, tiles, and similar — are neatly packed into individual transparent bags.
    • Each bag has a clear label for every component inside, showing both the name and the total quantity (so you'll know exactly what belongs where).
    • Larger components that don’t fit in bags are labeled directly inside the game box, in the compartment where they’re stored.
    • On the inside of the box cover, you’ll find a handy QR code linking to a how-to-play video, so you can learn the rules quickly — and with no manual flipping required.
    • Player-specific components (like red, blue, or green player sets) are grouped together to facilitate the initial game setup.

💰 Refundable Deposit

Renting out board games means trusting that every Meeple will treat them with the same love and care we do. But sometimes, games don’t come back — or they return in rough shape. That’s a risk we accept, but we don’t hide it in the price you pay.

To keep EasyMeeple affordable and transparent, we’ve introduced a Refundable Deposit.

  • Why a Refundable Deposit?

    The deposit acts as a simple deterrent — just a way to ensure that games return safe and sound, ready for the next player to enjoy. It’s not a fee, and it’s not a hidden cost. It’s held securely by our team (safely guarded, as seen in the image 😄)

  • We'll Retain Deposit If:

    • We receive 4 minor complaints about the condition of your returned games within the last 12 months
      (amount to be assessed, potentially full deposit).
    • A serious complaint is reported (e.g. multiple missing or damaged pieces)
      (amount to be assessed, potentially full deposit).
    • Games are not returned at all
      (amount to be assessed, potentially full deposit).
  • When do you get it back?

    Once your subscription ends and the returned games pass our final quality check, your full deposit will be refunded within 1–3 working days — no questions asked.

Monthly Plan

Works like a classic subscription.
It renews automatically every month, and you can cancel at any time.
iDEAL is not supported as a payment method.

Yearly Plan

Works more like a membership — similar to the Museumkaart.
It does not renew automatically. When your year ends, you’ll receive a link to renew if you want to continue.
This way, you're always fully in control.

  • Let’s Look at an Example

    Meet Jan and Emma, a couple from Rotterdam. They activated the Meeple Pass - 1 Year Plan.

    After 10 months, they had swapped their box 4 times, enjoying a total of 5 boxes full of games.

    In this example, we will assume that each game is worth €35 on average at store prices (quite conservative, but let's keep this example as fair as possible for the 'Store' side).

    In that time, they spent €300 and played games worth close to €600 at store prices.

    We bring to the table variety, flexibility, plenty of game nights, with convenience, and without having to buy and store every game themselves.

FAQs

General Questions

Can I cancel my Meeple Pass?

No need to cancel, the Meeple Pass does not renew automatically. You are in full control.

If you need to return your last box earlier than expected, simply use the 'Request Return Only' page in 'My Actions' area (accessible from the top menu).

Can I extend my Meeple Pass duration?

You can extend your Meeple Pass only at the end of the current period. You’ll receive a payment link to extend it, and once paid, your plan continues without interruption. It would be the same plan with the same duration.

Which payment methods can I use?

We support a variety of payment methods:

  • iDEAL
  • Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)
  • Paypal
  • Klarna
  • Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)

Can I renew my Meeple Pass and switch to a different duration?

Yes! You can switch to a different duration whenever your current Pass ends.
Just wait until the last day of your 3-Month Pass and then activate the 1-Year Meeple Pass directly from our store.

You don’t need to return your current Box in between, and we never hold two deposits at the same time — your previous deposit is refunded right away.

What languages are the games available in?

Most of our games are available in Dutch and English.
You can share your language preferences with us, and we’ll try our best to match them — but we can’t always guarantee it.
If language is important, you can always pre-pick your games to be sure.

About game language, should I refer to the images or to the game specifications?

Always refer to the language selected with the option selector on top of the date picker, even if the images show the game in a different language.

For example, you select the Dutch option of Wingspan, while the images are showing to the English game. You will still receive the Dutch version of Wingspan.

Can I buy the games that I rented?

No, as of today we do not offer this service.

Can I request a specific game for the collection?

Yes—we’d love your suggestions. Email info@easymeeple.com with the game title (and, if relevant, edition/language).
We can’t promise availability or timing, but we review every request as we grow the library.

Can I receive the same game twice?

No, normally you won’t receive the same game twice. Stock levels and timing are factors, but by default we make sure each box brings you new games to enjoy.

Can I share the list of games I already own?

Yes! You have a dedicated section in your profile to add the games you already own, so we can avoid sending duplicates.

Can I share the games we enjoy most and our preferences?

Absolutely. We take game selection very seriously, and we’d love to know more about what you like. You can share your favorite types of games, your preferences, and any other details that help us choose the right games for your box.

Delivery & Return

When can I expect my games to be delivered?

Delivery usually takes 1–3 business days.
For new plans, this is counted from activation.
For box swaps, it starts once your returned box is scanned by the logistics provider.

Should I keep the packaging material (box and fillers)?

Yes — please keep the original packaging and use it again for your return. Open it carefully to avoid damaging the box, and to make sure the games inside stay safe.

How do I return the games?

After you request a box swap, we’ll send you a return label. Simply attach it to your package, drop it off at any partner parcel point, and you’re done.

What if I return the games too late?

You can track your delivery using the tracking link we send by email. If there are still issues, contact us at info@easymeeple.com and we’ll follow up directly with the logistics provider.

Can I return the package earlier than the Meeple Pass end date?

Yes, absolutely. You can use the “Request Return Only” form to send back your box at any time, regardless of your subscription’s end date.
We’ll consider this as ending your plan.
Once we’ve checked the returned games, your deposit will be refunded within 1–3 business days, as per our standard process.

Refundable Deposit

Why the refundable deposit?

The deposit acts as a simple deterrent— just a way to ensure that games return safe and sound, ready for the next player to enjoy.

It’s not a fee, and it’s not a hidden cost transferred to you. It helps us keeping our prices as convenient as possible.

Is the refundable deposit required for activating a plan?

Yes, you are required to pay the refundable deposit in order to activated any Plan.

When will I get my refundable deposit back?

Your deposit is refunded within 1–3 business days from the moment the final quality check is completed, after your plan ends.
If part of it is deducted due to issues, we’ll send you an invoice for the deducted amount and refund the rest as per the standard process.

How much deposit will be taken if I damage or lose an item?

We’ll only retain the deposit in the rare cases where:

  • We receive 4 minor complaints about the condition of your returned games within the last 12 months
    (amount to be assessed, potentially full deposit).
  • A serious complaint is reported (e.g. multiple missing or damaged pieces)

What do you check during the quality inspection?

We will look for general state, missing pieces, cleanliness.
We need to make sure you treated the game with the care and respect they rightfully deserve.

What happens if part (or all) of my deposit is deducted?

If we need to deduct part of your deposit we’ll send you an invoice for the deducted amount.
We won’t dispatch any new box until the invoice is paid.

Once the invoice is settled and your subscription ends, your full deposit will still be refunded within 1–3 working days, as per our standard process.

What is the Meeple Care Process?

It’s our community-driven quality control. Instead of counting pieces upfront, you simply report issues when you notice them.
This helps us keep games in good shape while keeping subscription prices low.

What happens if a game has missing pieces or damaged?

If you notice something is missing or broken while playing or packing up, just report it using the dedicated section in My Actions as soon as possible, with a descriptions and pictures is possible.

In most cases, the game will still be playable or the component can be replaced. If not, we’ll provide a solution — such as adding an extra game to your next box.

Do I need to control all pieces every time I play?

You don’t need to count everything upfront— just report when you notice.

I damaged or lost an item, what should I do?

Please report the problem using the dedicated section in My Actions as soon as possible, with a descriptions and pictures is possible.

Most importantly, Informing us on time definitely increases our chances the next renter is not going to be impacted.

Moreover, we may give a different weight to self-reported problems when assessing for potential deposit deductions.

Why are all the components stored in separate bags?

Transparent bags play an important role in how we operate. They make it easier to inspect and count components — both for us and for you — which helps us maintain the quality of every box that goes out.

This small detail allows us to keep the experience smooth while also helping us offer competitive prices.

Whenever possible, we’ll always prioritize using the original bags from the game’s box.

Should I put every item back into its dedicated bag?

Yes, please — and thank you in advance! It’s a small gesture that goes a long way.

Keeping components in their labeled bags helps us (and the next Meeple) check the game quickly and easily. It’s a key part of keeping our process efficient and our prices fair.
